Synopsis:Channel Moving, a growing firm of international movers based in Ashford, Kent approached mediagarden with the aim of gaining a much improved search engine ranking on the major search engines.
A website designing company set about analysing the market and knew straight away that the competition was fierce. With a whole host of competitor companies using paid for sponsored links on Google and Yahoo!, plus many firms enjoying a high rank in the natural listings on Google, it had a serious job on our hands.
However, never deterred, the company took to the task and got to work on the sites source code and added our optimisation techniques to get the site back up where it belonged. Within two weeks of making the changes and submissions, the results were staggering. In some cases, it managed to grab top spot on Google on search terms returning over 10 million results - so as you can imagine, gaining a No. 1 ranking in those kinds of search results was not only a great result, it was a huge scalp.
