Microformat

It's not often that you come across a client that knows exactly what they want and gives you a full and comprehensive brief. However, in the form of Microformat, that's exactly what we got!

They asked us to design a new website that was clean, unfussy, W3C compliant and most importantly, ranks high on the major search engines. Pretty straight forward on the surface of things this may seem...

The challenge for us wasn't necessarily the design of the site, it was gaining a strong ranking. With many other businesses seemingly offering the same service, we soon discovered that we had to optimise the site for very targeted key words to ensure the client gained the correct type of enquiries. Get these wrong and the ranking could be gaining the wrong kind of attention.

After persistence and hard work, we cracked it and the ranking is now extremely respectable and continues to maintain a high level. The website design is as requested - unfussy, clean, still contemporary in appeal and functional in its use.
